Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vikas Editor at vikaseditor.net (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Vikas Editor is an AI photo editor. You upload one or more photos, add a text prompt or choose a template, and the Service returns an edited image generated by an AI model. Results are produced automatically and may not always match your expectations.

Accounts

You need an account to edit photos. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service.

Credits

Each edited image costs the number of credits shown next to the Generate button (currently 2 credits).
New accounts receive a one-time free credit grant for one image.
If an edit fails or is blocked by the safety filter, the credits for that edit are refunded to your balance automatically.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and cannot be exchanged for money.
Credits from one-time credit packs do not expire.
Images made while you have no active plan and have never bought a credit pack carry a small Vikas Editor logo and link. Images from paying users have no watermark, and buying a plan or a credit pack removes the watermark from your earlier images too.

Subscriptions

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each billing period (every month or every year) until you cancel.
Every month you receive the number of credits included in your plan. Yearly plans are paid once a year and still receive their credits month by month.
Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each month and do not roll over. Subscription credits are used before credit pack credits.
You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your plan and remaining credits until then.
When you upgrade, the price difference is charged immediately and the extra credits are added. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
We may change plan prices. Price changes apply from your next billing period after we notify you.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars and may be converted to your local currency at checkout. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at support@vikaseditor.net. When a payment is refunded, the unused credits granted by that payment are removed from your balance. If a yearly plan is refunded, the remaining unused subscription credits are removed and no further monthly credits are granted for that year.

Your content

You keep all rights to the photos you upload and to the images you create with the Service.
You must own or have permission to use every photo you upload, including permission from people who appear in it.
You grant us a limited license to store and process your uploads and results only to provide the Service to you. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
You can delete any edit from your History at any time.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to create content that is illegal, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, harassment, impersonation intended to deceive, or content that infringes the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that break these rules without refund.
